Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Page
Have a question for the RMR Board? We've set up a Frequently Asked Questions page for answers to some of the most often asked general questions that the Board gets from property owners. Before you pick up the phone to call a Board member, please check this page first to see if you find the answer you need. If you don't find it, you can send your question there.
Debris Burning Common Sense
Kendall County, not RMRPOA, decides when burning is allowed. The sign near the main entrance is for information only.
Please remember that the protection of your property, as well as that of your neighbors, is more important than your need to burn that accumulated brush.
These are common sense guidelines to follow:
- Attend the fire at all times with at least two people.
- Have adequate water supply.
- Burn only when there is no wind.
- Put coals out with water before leaving.
